The Head Office and Manufacturing Unit-I and Unit-II of HSPL are situated at Kanganwal Road, Ludhiana, 300 km North of the Indian Capital (New Delhi). The manufacturing plant is spread over 25,000 sq. metres with a covered area of 15,000 sq. metres.

The plant is equipped with a Forging & Heat Treatment Division (FHD) and Machined Components Division (MCD). The FHD comprises 4 Horizontal mechanical presses or UPSETTERS with electric bar-end billet heaters for forging and SCADA-controlled normalising & hard & tempered Furnaces for heat treatment. The MCD has CNC Lathe machines for turning, hobbing machines for spline cutting, and grob machines for spline rolling. It also includes low-medium frequency case induction hardening machines and tempering furnaces for controlling case hardness & effective depth. It has Special Purpose CNC vertical and horizontal machining Centres (VMCs & HMCs) for axle hole drilling and CNC cylindrical grinders with autosizers for critical grinding operations.

The testing facilities at HSPL include a metallurgical lab equipped with a spectrometer for testing chemical composition, a microscope with an image analyzer, an ultrasonic testing machine, and magnetic particle testing for crack detection. For dimensional inspections, we have a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), air snap gauges, surface roughness tester, and lead profile tester.

HSPL manufactures rear & front axle shafts (Single part Flow Lines), drive/transmission S-Cam shafts, and spindles & also forges other types of auto components ranging from 3.5 kg to 50 kg. The axle shafts produced by the company are known for their strength and are the preferred choice of the leading O.E.M.s in India and overseas. We only use the top quality-grade steel from the best rolling mills and are renowned for our quality in forging and machining.
